The Oulu Camera Club’s photo show “Encounters” is on display on a giant screen at the end of the LähiTapiola building, opposite the City Hall. The images in the show represent almost real-time moments from the light festival. People watching and admiring the light art installations with enchanted expressions. The intention is not to document the light installations but the atmosphere around them. The people photographed have the opportunity to catch themselves in the stream of images.
The Oulu Camera Club will also photograph eager people near the installation in their “Portrait setting”.
