About the artwork
Frozen People x Lumo is a collaborative project born from a video mapping workshop exploring the projection of moving images onto three-dimensional surfaces and environments. Artists Alina Ruardy and G-Angel took part in the workshop led by media artist Jani Pitkänen. Following the workshop, the artworks were first presented at the Frozen People Festival in March 2025. At the Lumo Light Festival, the project features Alina’s and G-Angel’s workshop pieces alongside Jani Pitkänen’s own work Valovirtaus.
