The Mosaic projection was created in a workshop led by internationally renowned media artist and art educator Niko Tiainen, where children and young people learned the basics of artificial intelligence and how to use digital technology and artificial intelligence for creativity. The work was realised in collaboration with pupils in the 5th–9th grade visual art classes at Myllytulli School and is part of the KUDOS project (a co-creation model of the cities of Oulu, Jyväskylä, Kuopio and Lahti, which aims to increase the digital capability of municipalities’ cultural activities).
