About the artwork
An immersive, touching video installation. Choreographer Katja Heitmann collects and preserves ‘human movement’. More than 2,000 people have already donated their personal movements. In the new artwork Perpetuum, you meet these moving ‘movement donors’ up close. Each time different people from the Motus Mori archive become visible in monumental format. As you get closer, you stand face to face with them and hear the stories behind their movements. In a sea of light, your personal movement also becomes visible.
