About the artwork
Water, fire, earth, and air have been regarded as the fundamental elements of the world in Western culture since ancient times. Plato later added a fifth – the celestial element, aether.
Our “aether” is the fusion of technology and art. Through it, we can admire the beauty and awe-inspiring power of these elements from a cosmic perspective, as an immersive 360-degree projection. On a closer look, the work visualises organisms representing each element, revealing how fragile and interdependent all forms of existence and human actions truly are.
