Foxfire transforms a shop window into a living mirror where the passer-by’s body ignites into light. A camera follows the movement, while real-time software breaks the silhouette into thousands of glowing particles. A small gesture makes the image flicker, while a larger movement pulls it into waves and flames. When the viewer leaves, the figure disappears.

The title refers to the faint glow of bioluminescent fungi found in dark forests and also echoes the Finnish word revontulet, literally “fox fires”, linked in folklore to a fox running across the fells and sweeping sparks into the sky with its tail.
