Light on Loose

The light above Rotuaari pedestrian street goes astray. It travels from one sphere to another, changing colour and direction, pausing for a moment, disappearing and reappearing elsewhere. At times, one light draws the others along with it; at others, the order breaks down completely.

Light on Loose transforms the familiar seasonal lighting into a living playground of light for the duration of the event. The work is built on movement, rhythm, and colours, as well as the surprising chains of events they generate.
