The Light Figures

Every one of us has drawn a stick figure at some point. The Light Figures bring these familiar characters to life: human-sized figures of light appear in the darkness, move around the surroundings, and then vanish from view again.

This site-specific light and performance art piece transforms woods, alleyways, and the shadows cast by buildings into stages without a separate platform. The characters’ unexpected appearances, playful ‘teleportation’, and physical comedy create encounters that require no common language.

Produced by Lentoi Films Oy, the piece invites viewers of all ages to join in the fun for a moment, bringing surprises, amazement, and shared joy into the darkness.
