The Rhythm of the Ocean

The Rhythm of the Ocean is a large-scale architectural projection by Desilence, created in dialogue with the music of pioneering electronic composer Suzanne Ciani.

The work transforms the building façade into an abstract digital painting in motion. Stone dissolves into water, ocean currents flow through the architecture and waves reshape its geometry. Moving between calm, turbulence and stillness, the work explores the ocean as a constantly changing visual and sonic landscape.

Desilence is an artist duo formed by Tatiana Halbach and Søren Christensen, whose practice combines digital painting, light and movement to create immersive visual environments.
