What’s Here, It’s There

What’s Here, It’s There reflects on the traces left by our actions and thoughts. Even when we do not notice their impact ourselves, they do not disappear but emerge elsewhere or in another form.

The work reminds us that we are constantly connected to one another and to what came before us. Each of us is shaped by the thoughts, actions and footsteps of those who existed before. Nothing is completely separate; we are all part of the same whole. What is here is also there.

Elo Liiv is an Estonian sculptor, installation artist and educator. Her body of work includes public artworks and memorials, and her practice engages with social and environmental themes.
