An interactive work using snowflakes created by children during programming workshops held mainly at elementary schools in Oulu, Finland.
Move your body, and the snow moves. But when the snow moves, it makes us move, too. We are not simply moving the snow; the snow is moving us.
The work is inspired by the Hokkaido expression “-sar(u),” which describes something happening as if we were somehow made to do it, beyond our own intention. Here, people and snow move, and are moved, by each other. Move with the snow and discover who is moving whom.
